Description
NATIVE AMERICAN / PLAINS INDIAN BEADED STRIKE-A-LITE BAGS, LOT OF TWO, comprising two unsigned examples, one attributed to Darwin DeCamp, each with brass concho to cover flap, "lazy" stitched beadwork, fringe with sheet metal cones to cover flap and along bottom edge, DeCamp-attributed example with brass hawk bell to closure cord, the other with cowrie shell to closure cord. Together with a Crow beaded belt buckle. Three pieces total. Second half 20th century. 5 1/4" x 3 1/2" OA and 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" OA; buckle 4 1/4" x 2 7/8" OA.
Excellent condition, with no visible losses.
