Richard Red Skelton, American, 1913-1997, California, Indiana Clown head and figure “Dr. Freddy’s Wednesday” Signed and dated lower left. Photograph on verso of Skelton holding this drawing. This drawing depicts a clown in a blue doctor uniform. His hand with a tattered glove holds part of a medical object with a pull string. A stethoscope hangs from his neck, which is tangled upon itself. In his left hand he holds a golf club upside-down.
