ENGLISH CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising two covered sugar bowls, and one teabowl and saucer; all with polychrome floral painted designs. One sugar bowl with two painted black lines on base, otherwise unmarked. Staffordshire and other areas. Circa 1820. Sugar bowls, 4 1/2" and 5" H.
Bruise and hairline on underside flange of cover, and some roughness and wear on interior flange of larger sugar bowl, otherwise undamaged. Foot rim of sugar bowl with two minute flakes that are likely from manufacturing because they are triangulated from kiln furniture.
