STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED AMERICAN HISTORICAL CERAMIC PLATE, having dark blue transfer design "Cadmus" noted on reverse with ship in full sail, figures fishing in foreground, and floral border. Unmarked. Staffordshire and other areas. 1825-1830. 7" D.
Undamaged except for small flake on rim and some wear to interior from use.

Provenance: From the collection of Kurt O' Hare and Barbara O' Hare, Putnam Valley, NY.
Purchased from Bill & Theresa Kurau, Lampeter, PA.
Catalogue Note: "Cadmus" was the ship which brought LaFayette on his return trip from France to America in 1824.
