ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA, WALNUT PUNCHED-TIN-PANELED PIE / FOOD SAFE, two-board rectangular top over two drawers, above two hinged doors, opening to reveal two shelves, on slightly tapered turned legs terminating in pad feet, six tins featuring centered four-lobe pinwheel flanked by a crescent moon and stars within a zigzag border. Warm finish, tins with some remnants of painted surface. 19th century. 55 1/2" H, 40 3/4" W, 17 3/4" D.
(UPDATED 6/12/17) Very good condition overall, some expected losses to shelves, two-board top with some minor cupping and later screws or nails to secure it to the case, small pieced repair to proper left rear corner of top.
