PULASKI COUNTY, VALLEY OF VIRGINIA ASH AND PINE PUNCHED-TIN-PANELED PLANTATION FOOD / PIE SAFE, deep rectangular form, top with applied molded edges, over two hinged doors, each having four applied tins hand-punched in an unusual quatrefoil, rosette, and chain border design, ends with four applied oversized, crimped tins hand-punched in a diamond diaper pattern, interior featuring three fixed shelves, raised on square feet extending from the stiles. Retains an old surface with warm color. Mid 19th century. 65 3/4" H, 43 1/4" W, 25" D.
