A fine edition of this work dedicated to the physiognomic character of the head. The work is a full volume divided into ten decades: each one divided into ten speeches, in the order: hair, forehead, eyebrows, eyes, nose, mouth, chin, ears, face, head. Each speech respects a precise structure: the portrait of the head followed by a sonnet, then the Girardelli Speech of the same, the Writers' Opinion, and finally the Addition by a member of the Academy of Vespertini, identified with the pseudonym of Inquieto , Presented as "singular friend". Cornelio Ghirardelli (15 ?? - 1637), a native Franciscan in Bologna, was a scholar of astrological medicine and predictions, subjects to which he studied numerous studies between 1621 and 1634. Cfr.
