ca. 1905, with approximately 170 black and white photographs taken by F. W. Davis on a European trip from NY to Constantinople, September 9, 1905 to November 7, 1905. The book contains the White Star Line's Passenger List booklet. Many black and white photographs were taken onboard the RMS Lucania of the Cunard line. It starts off with views in Paris, including Versailles, then onto Cologne, Verona, Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Palermo, Greece and the Parthenon, Constantinople, Winsor Castle, etc. There is a full page map which outlines the ports, of the trip. They arrived back in the US Jun 17, 1906. The book is filled with many wonderful period images depicting luxury travel in the early 20th c.
