BESSIE POTTER VONNOH (American 1872-1955) A BRONZE SCULPTURE, 1902, "His First Journey," signed, foundry mark by Roman Bronze Works and in monogram, number XXVIV. Height: 5" Width: 8 1/2" Depth: 4 1/2" NOTE: A sculptor known for her depiction of graceful, serene, female figures with gently sweeping garments, Vonnoh was born in St. Louis, Missouri and trained at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Condition
Minor surface wear and dust debris within crevices, otherwise in very good condition, wear commensurate with age.
