A THOMAS DANIELL GEORGE III PERIOD STERLING SILVER OPEN SALT, LONDON, ENGLAND, CIRCA 1787-1788, of half crescent boat form with "D" shape strap handles, raised on oval spreading foot with reeded rim, engraved crest to the foot, fully marked, height: 3 1/4", width: 5 1/8", depth: 2 1/4"; together with an International Silver Co. shaped bowl raised on four scrolled paw feet, monogrammed, bowl height: 2 5/8", width: 4 5/8", depth: 3 5/8", total approximate weight: 5.30 troy ounces.
Condition
In overall fair shape, the salt with repair to the side and foot, surface scratching and wear commensurate with age and use.
