The items include: five early aviation journals, "Information Concerning Aeroplaning", "The Aeronautical Journal", "Air Transportation", "La Petite Illustration: Service Aerien", and "La Conquete de la Air", all well illustrated with drawings and photographs; two event programs for the New York National Guard 27th Division Air Service's Air Meet of June 20, 1925, and for the New York Aviation Show of February, 1929; four catalogs advertising courses, flying instruments, engines, and entire airplanes for sale, including those manufactured by Nieuport, Voisin, Farman and Wright, all well illustrated; an entry blank and rules booklet for the second Pulitzer Trophy air race; a French-English dictionary of aviation terms, published in 1918; a Boy Scouts of America pamphlet intended to help scouts acquire their Aviation Merit Badge; four academic pamphlets, covering the expansion of the airplane industry, medical aspects of aviation, and the use of aviation in commerce and defense; and more.
