Philadelphia, PA. The (Third) Bank of the United States. Twenty Dollars. Plate B. Contemporary Counterfeit. PCGS graded Fine-15.
Haxby US-3 C8. Unlisted. Dated December 7, 1836. Imprint of Draper, Toppan, Longacre & Co. Three portraits at the left are; David Rittenhouse, William Penn, and Thomas Paine and the portraits at the right are; Robert Fulton, Benjamin Franklin and Robert Morris. At the center is a superb vignette of the Bank's building. This with the text reading: "For Jaudon” and “For Biddle". Choice centering, fully intact and evenly circulated with Low serial number 60. Rare & Unlisted 3rd Bank of the United States Twenty Dollar Note.
