Description
Early letter, from 1925, written and signed by Rabbi Avraham Kalmanowitz.
Handwritten text on both sides of a postcard - Yiddish with a little Hebrew. New Year's greetings to his brother and sister-in-law. "May it be His will..that you live a long, good life..." The rabbi includes a story about a family member who gave birth in her home, because she did not get to the hospital in time. He also discusses his mother-in-law's visit to Vilna and other family affairs.
