Waylon Jennings Personally Owned Framed Letter From Kentucky Governor John Y. Brown From Jennings' Brentwood, Tennessee Home W/COA - This piece is a framed letter from Kentucky Governor John Brown, personally owned by Waylon Jennings. The letter is to Waylon and Jessi, and was written by the governor to thank them for being "Honky Tonk Angels," and to let them know that he would like to make them Kentucky Colonels. The piece comes from the Jennings' Brentwood, Tennessee home, and will come with a certificate of authenticity. The letter is in excellent condition, and has been professionally framed in a wood and gilt gold frame. The piece (including the frame) measures 11" x 13.5". Waylon Jennings (1937-2002) was an American singer, songwriter, musician, and actor. Jennings began playing guitar at eight and began performing at 14 on the radio. He joined the Outlaw Country movement during the 1970's, and later joined the country supergroup The Highwaymen With Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and Johnny Cash. He also appeared in movies and tv series, and in 2001 was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
