Description
WN-2 WAGON PRESSED OPEN SALT, colorless, rope rim, raised on four wheels. Unique in Neal. Reserve. Possibly Pittsburgh area. 1830-1845. 2 1/8" H, 2 1/8" x 3".
Near proof with minor mold roughness to rim and corners of body. Inner-rim underfill to one end and annealing check to one corner not affecting the resonance, all as made.

Catalogue Note: This is the first example of this salt that we have sold. The only other examples we could locate are the Corning and Toledo specimens referenced above.
