Description
Pre-Columbian, Peru, north coast, Chimu culture, ca. 900 to 1300 CE. Large textile panel on coarse cotton fiber in an almost burlap texture. Painted in colors of red, green, gold and black with large panel of birds along the top, two panels of standing warriors holding staffs or maces and two panels with abstract temple patterns. Once properly framed will look fabulous! Size: 21" W x 39" H (53.3 cm x 99.1 cm)
