TWO RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CAST METAL TRAVELING ICONS, comprising a cast bronze four leaf onion domed folding traveling icon/altarpiece, circa 1750-1900, the panels respectively themed "The Passions of Christ," "The Life of the Holy Family," "Adoration of Mary, the Mother of God," and "Russian Nobility Praying to the Icon of Madonna and Child" with four smaller scenes from each theme, the exterior with central image of the cross within animalistic and floral patterning; height: 7", width: 16 1/4"; and a brass onion dome top traveling communion box, 20th century, with cast hinged lid with the "Crucifixion of Christ," interior with silvered metal drawer to the top section along with baluster form silvered metal cup and spoon; height: 4 3/8", width: 2 3/4", depth: 1 3/4".
