AMERICAN, PROBABLY NEW ENGLAND, FEDERAL PAINT-DECORATED PINE WASHSTAND, rectangular top with shaped gallery and basin cut out, raised on tall ring-turned legs fitted with medial shelf and drawer. Retains original paint-decorated surface with gilt-stenciled highlights. Circa 1825. 37 1/2" HOA, 14 3/4" x 17" top.
Backsplash warped with crack and old repair. Brass knob likely replaced. Scattered surface wear.
