Description
PAIR OF AMERICAN, PROBABLY NEW YORK, LATE FEDERAL FIGURED TIGER MAPLE SIDE CHAIRS, having a shaped "pillow-back" crest rail, caned trapezoidal-form seat, and sabre legs joined with box stretcher. Each retains a fine old surface with rich color. Circa 1820-1830. 32" H, 15 1/2" x 17 1/2 seat.

Condition
Good overall condition with scattered wear. Stretchers possibly tightened with a few scattered cracks and minor repairs. Seats replaced.
