attributed to New York, circa 1800, each with finely carved back and reeded tapered legs on spade feet, ash seat rails, each 36-1/4 x 19 x 18-1/2 in.

Provenance: one chair purchased from Israel Sack, October, 1999 and accompanied by copy of receipt; second chair purchased at James Julia Auctions, August 2000; Private Texas Collection

Condition

very good condition overall, one chair with some sun fading at back, slight color variation, other with typical minor bumps in wear, silk upholstery with wear and one tear
