Description

A George III mahogany cellaret, the hinged square cover, with central brass loop handle, enclosing a four-division interior fitted with later cut glass whisky decanters, the body with lion mask ring handles on four unusual cast ball-and-claw feet, the balls rotating as castors, 12.5 square x 16.75, (32cm x 42.5cm)

Condition

Wear to top including dints and scratches commensurate with age and use, plus a horizontal crack to back edge. Decanters are four non-matching later examples. Exterior has general wear and scratches, but is overall sound
