A very rare collection of 13 Mathew B. Brady Civil War portraits made directly from the original Brady plates by enlargement by GAF Corporation. Records indicate that these were made in Brady's National Photograph Gallery in Washington sometime after 1865. The famous Civil War scenes were made from Copy negatives of original prints made by Brady. They were a presented through the courtesy of GAF Corporation photo education services. They are assorted sizes which are mounted on 20" x 16" boards. Photographs include famous portraits including Abraham Lincoln, and Civil War.
