Description
A Colima ceramic turkey whistle, West Mexico, c. 100 BC – AD 250, black painted circular bands on the back of the tail. The whistle with great tone and a rare & desirable type. 4 ½ in x 3 ½ in (11.3 x 8.9 cm). In great condition with light deposits. Ex Dr. Earl Riddick collection, Fayetteville, AR., acquired in the 1960’s – 1980’s.
