Description
Left side of slide has the Koishikawa Arsenal, Tokyo stamp. Has the SHOWA 3.9 manufacture date code, May 1928 to October 1930. Blade dovetail to base front sight, notch milled into frame rear sight, polished bolt, and early type knurled cocking knob with flat edges. Two original magazines not proper for this model with blued bodies and aluminum base, numbered 865 and 734. Straw colored trigger and safety. Beechwood grips with 25 serrations each stamped and pencil numbered to gun. Trigger guard and grips straps rust blue finish with some age freckling. Light drag line on safety. Otherwise retains approximately 93-95% blue with some minor high edge wear. Very high condition with this early of a gun. Right side of frame has the Kanji character. Right grip panel has a small dent. Fine bore and action. Comes in an original period all leather holster with Japanese characters stamped inside. Has the cleaning tool. Holster is equipped with the shoulder strap. An excellent, early example with period rig.
