Boxed and Customized Colt Government Model Semi-Automatic Pistol. Serial no. 284908-C, .45 caliber, 5-inch barrel with Giles .45 Shop custom full-solid rib (extended 1 3/8-inch), fixed front sight and micrometer adjust rear sight. Blued finish. Checkered rubber Pachmayr grip panels. Textured backstrap. Grip safety. Contained in factory pasteboard box with literature. Manufactured in 1959. Note: The Giles .45 Shop is arguably one of the most famous .45 custom shops. Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 92-94% with some thinning to relief edges, scattered handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Action crisp. Bright bore. Box displaying honest storage wear.
