French, late 18th / early 19th century. A petit point (needlework or needle point) genre scene depicting two figures in courtship, surrounded by handmaidens and cherubs, apparently unmarked. Framed approximately 23.5" x 16.25". Sight approximately 16.5" x 11.5".
