A Chinese antique Zitan three tiers lunch box. Featuring the Mother of Pearl inlaid decorating on top surface, depicted bird on flowering branch. Comprising a cover and a shallow upper tray, held on a base frame with two side posts flanked by scrolling spandrels and joined at the top with a humpbacked handle, with brass threading pin. The zitan wood display smooth lustrous dense hardwood with dark purple-brown patina and feathery fine grain.

Dimension: 9-1/4" H x 13-1/4" L x 7-1/2" D

Over all in EXCELLENT condition. Some stress of wear. Natural wood imperfection, wood joint mark, minor scratches and dents. Normal consider ages and wears.
