December 31, 1756-Dated, Manuscript Letter Signed, “George R,” as King of England, with five words in his hand, written in German, not translated, 1 page, front & back, measuring 8” x 12.5”, Choice Very Fine. Tiny edge chip at upper left. Bold brown and vividly written on period laid paper from St. James Palace in London, King George sends his thanks for a Christmas greeting from a royal cousin. A most wonderful ornate very special example for display.
