A LARGE JAPANESE PARCEL GILT AND POLYCHROME ENAMELED PORCELAIN CHARGER, UNDERGLAZE BLUE SQUARE MARK, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, of circular form and traditional colors, centering a conforming reserve with a two handled tightly filled urn of auspicious blossoming foliage, within a broad border of stylized ruyi panels and large shaped reserves depicting cranes amongst blossoming prunus and various flowering species, reversing to a border of ribbon tied Buddhistic objects alternating long tail feathered flying Phoenix, enclosing an underglaze blue double line two character square form mark. Diameter: 18 1/8"
