Conway Twitty Personally Owned Framed Letter From United States Senator David Boren Dated February 17, 1990 W/COA From the Conway Twitty Estate - This piece is a framed letter to Conway Twitty, from United States Senator David Boren of Oklahoma. The letter was written to Twitty to congratulate him on recievein the Americanism Award from the American Legion. The piece (including the frame) measures 14" x 12". The piece was personally owned by Twitty, and will come with a certificate of authenticity from the Conway Twitty Estate. Conway Twitty (born Harold Loyd Jenkins, 1933-1993) was an American country singer, who also had success in the rock and roll genre. He recieved a string of Country Music Association awards from 1971-1976, for duets with Loretta Lynn. He would eventually be inducted into both the Country Music and Rockabilly Halls of Fame.
