Description
Native American, New Mexico, Anasazi culture, ca. 1150 to 1300 CE. Rare pottery bowl decorated on the interior with two bands of braided "cords" with large area reserved "white" and three continuous black bands above, separating and below the braided areas. Interestingly, on the exterior is a single abstract human figure with exaggeratedly large hands showing all 5 fingers. A fine and unusual vessel! Size: 10.75" W x 4.75" H (27.3 cm x 12.1 cm)
