Native American, Southwest, Anasazi, Cibola Whiteware Pinedale, ca. 1275 to 1325 CE. A stunning Cibola Whiteware Pinedale Black-on-White bowl, of a deep form with one applied loop handle, decorated with interlocked broad solid lines and bands comprised of negative-painted sinuous and zigzag motifs, with the framing bands the some width as the negative painted bands. All expertly created via the coiled and scrape method. A lovely example boasting a finely painted design program. Size: 9" W x 4" H (22.9 cm x 10.2 cm)
