wood, blackish brown patina, vaulted, asymmetrical arranged eyes, carved with fangs, a stylized snake with two heads framing the face in flat relief, headband with incised geometrical ornaments, eyebrows, moustache and chin beard inserted with animal hair, slightly dam. (nose tip, chin), rep. (breakage mouth/chin area), bunches of animal hair missing;
these masks represent deities. They have been used during local ceremonies and dancing performances and are connected with local archaic traditions and hinduistic influence.
