Description
Pre-Columbian, Costa Rica, ca. 1000 to 1500 CE. This is a portly red slipped figure of what appears to be a lizard with his arms and tail snaked around his head. He stands upright and has a rattle inside his large body. Size: 4" H x 2" diameter at widest (10 cm x 5 cm).
