The vase is thick potted of characteristic MeiPing form, It has a narrow base, a wide body, a narrow neck, and a small opening. The exterior decorated with hand painting in cobalt blue underglazed of striding dragon amidst fume clouds and flames. Banded with auspicious pattern on collar and foot base.
The underside base left unglazed, reveal pale-creme with burnt grayish-orange spots in the firing.
