China, Cheng Hua, Ming Dynasty, ca. 15th century CE. Gorgeous deep red vase in a color commonly called oxblood flambé. Red splashed with small area of iridescent purple. Marked in 6 blue characters on base - translated as "Produced in the Cheng hua, Ming Dynasty(1465--1487)". Guaranteed early and authentic! Size: 8" H (20.3 cm)
