Eastern Asia, China, Tang Dynasty, ca. 618 to 907 CE. Lovely mirror of solid cast bronze, top decorated in four scrolling sections with low relief symbols beneath. Reverse is reserved and was once silvered and highly polished. Size: 6.75" W (17.1 cm)
Provenance: Ex-private Attal collection, Austin, Texas, via family descent from great uncle, acquired during the 1st quarter of the 20th century.
