Amos Ashanti Johnson (American (active South Carolina), b. 1950-),"Civil Rights Leaders"-1984, graphite and charcoal on artist's board, signed and dated al lower left "Amos A. Johnson 84 (c)". Figural drawing depicting three views of the Nobel Peace Prize winning humanitarian and civil rights activist, Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. (American, 1929-1968), with a small vignette at lower left depicting "the first lady of civil rights", Rosa Parks (American, 1913-2005), and several children. Framed approximately 25" x 61". Sight approximately 23" x 59". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Dr. & Mrs. Calvin Wayne McLarin, Atlanta, Georgia.
