Description

Comprised of: 1) Civil War model 1840 heavy Cavalry sabre has a 35-1/2” blade with one fuller. Three bar brass hilt with wire wrapped leather grip. Steel scabbard with two hanging rings and drag. Black spots and rust on blade. 2) Officer’s sword has a 31-1/4” straight blue blade with gold etchings. Brass knuckle bar with clam shell counter guard, decorated brass pommel with pearl grip. Leather scabbard with one brass mount. Blade with dark area, scabbard with missing mounts and drag, most of the leather finish is gone. Condition (Good).
