Description
An nice Etruscan Bucchero-ware oinochoe, c. 560-540 BC, with a tall handle, rounded body and mouth, and slightly flared foot. The base of the neck and lip of the mouth are decorated with and incised zig-zag pattern. On the top of the handle is a nipple with raised and pointed decoration. The inside of the handle is decorated with with enclosed 'x''s separated by more zigzag patterns. Two raised and pointed decorations border the base of the handle, H: 8 in (20cm).
