A group of 88 antique postcards sent to Mrs. Robert L. Denig from her husband, Marine Corps Brigadier General Robert L. Denig (1884-1979). The postcards are postmarked 1908 and 1909. They include Chinese, Japanese and Australian locations and people.
NOTE: most with tape residue, see photos.
HISTORY NOTE: Robert Livingston Denig Sr. (September 29, 1884 – July 25, 1979) was a highly decorated United States Marine Corps brigadier general who served in World War I, and served as its first Director of Public Information during World War II.
