Description
American, 20th century. Collection of twenty-two black and white press photographs documenting the creation of the 1939 Academy Award winning film "Gone with the Wind" including some shots of actors and actresses relaxing on the set, rehearsing lines and reading scripts, between scenes, getting makeup and dressed, figures by production boards, and two images of David O. Selznick (President of Seznick International Pictures) being presented with a resolution passed by the Atlanta Ladies' Memorial Association commending the creation of the film. Each measures approximately 7.6" x 10".
