Description
A nice Old Babylonian cuneiform terracotta tablet, c. 1900 – 1750 BC, either side with multiple lines of cuneiform text indicating it is a letter written from a person identified as ‘Zazia’. The tablet is stable with light deposits and is larger than what is usually seen during the period. 3 1/8 in x 1 1/8 in (7.9 x 2.8 cm). Displayed within a Riker mount. Ex Rice Collection, Southern California.
