German silver and hard rubber trout reel with the following inscribed on the top portion of the front plate "C.F.S.W. From E.I.L., 1940". Comes with sliding oil port cap on back marked "Edward vom Hofe, Maker, NY, Pat. July 14, 96". Has aluminum spool ends, handle and foot, German silver safety bands and sliding click set for right hand rotation. Foot is marked with serial no. H68, model and size 355, 1. Some screws show light usage otherwise this reel is in uncleaned damage free E- condition. Comes with a leather pouch.
