Pre-Columbian, Chupicuaro, Pre-Classic Mexico, ca. 300 to 100 BCE. This example depicts a female figure who is shown wearing a large necklace and decorative headband. Includes custom display stand, as shown. A great example of ancient art that is over 2000 years old. Size: 3" H (7.6 cm).

Condition
This figure remains intact and in excellent condition, with remnants of original decorative pigment remaining. Only minor weathering, wear and abrasions, with mineral and sediment deposits remaining, attesting to the authenticity of this example. A former collection number remains on the back, that was penned in black ink by a previous institution or owner.
