Description
Pre-Columbian, Nazca, Peru, ca. 100 to 400 CE. This is a nice polychrome deep bowl with a flaring rim. The surface has been painted with a mythological feline creature (as shown by the rounded face and large eyes). Felines were renowned for their hunting prowess and are frequent subjects of Nazca art. Size: 5.25" W x 4" H (13.3 cm x 10.2 cm)
