Description
China, Sung (Song) Dynasty, ca. 960 to 1279 CE. Stunning ceramic jar made by a fine craftsman. Tall barrel-shaped jar with two small doubles strap handles, exterior and portion of interior covered in what is called hare's fur glaze with multiple hues of brown, black, blue and a rainbow iridescemce. A gorgeous and very rare jar! Size: 5-1/4" H x 4-1/2" D.
