c. Late 1700s, Very Early Loose Weave Revolutionary War Era Beige & Green Linen Cloth Coverlet, Very Fine.

An superior quality, large 65” x 71”, very early loose weave Linen Cloth Coverlet in beige and green color. Similar to other example shown and referenced in George Neumann’s, “Antique County Collectibles,” this early Coverlet dates back to the Revolutionary War Era to the late 1700s. A very few thin areas are consistent with the age, but is not worn through. Very appealing and has a desirable block and swirl design.
