Roman Empire, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. Very unusual pottery sculpture depicting two wrestlers or boxers - who are probably the mythical twins Castor and Pollux (the Gemini). Both are shown nude grasping at the others upper torso, one kicking at the other. Size: 4-7/8" H (12.4 cm).
