Burma (Myanmar), ca. 19th century CE. Stunning wooden Buddha sitting in Bhumispara mudra atop oval base, lengthy inscription inscribed over nine lines. Covered with deep red and gold pigments. A lovely example! Size: 4.5"L x 8.5"H (11.4 cm x 21.6 cm).
